Continental Divide Trail on Cumbres Pass (Mountain Bike)
This trail has been unrideable for almost 10 years due to deadfall littering the trail. Recently a team cleaned and re-routed the trail so eight miles of some of the best single track near the Valley is now open for business.
Follow Highway 17 over Cumbres Pass to the Trujillo Meadows Resivor road (North of Hwy). Immediately take a left and follow the signs to the trailhead. Parking is available near the old wooden train shed.
The trail is rideable for 8 miles until you reach the Wilderness boundary. 16 miles roundtrip - 2,000+ feet of elevation gain!
